At a recent event, Shweta Bachchan was questioned about Navya Naveli Nanda’s rumored entry into Bollywood. Shweta was clear and candid in her response: “I think you are very well acquainted with the work Navya does, and she has her hands full. Navya Naveli Nanda: A Legacy Beyond Bollywood

Navya Naveli Nanda’s decision to stay away from the silver screen is not a sudden development. She has consistently voiced her lack of interest in acting, despite her family’s deep roots in the film industry. Instead, Navya is passionately involved in her father’s family business, the Escorts Group, a legacy with a four-generation history. Her inclination towards business rather than Bollywood highlights her desire to carve out her own identity away from the limelight of her grandparents’ cinematic fame.

In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Navya explained her choice, stating, “Both sides of my family have a rich heritage. On my father’s side, we have a four-generation history in business, and I find it a familiar path for me.” This heritage and familiarity with the business world have significantly influenced her career decisions.

Starting Young: Navya’s Journey in the Escorts Group

Navya’s journey into the business world began at the age of 21, marking an early start in a field traditionally dominated by experienced professionals. During a conversation with Mashable India, Navya shared insights into her career beginnings. “Because I come from a very privileged background, I had the opportunity to do it. My family supported me financially, I had access to a lot of opportunities which people don’t get. So, for me to be able to do what I am doing at the age I am doing is an advantage of where I come from,” she said.

Navya acknowledges her privilege but also emphasizes her ambition and drive. “I had the utmost gratitude and respect for that. Because I don’t think I would have been able to reach here so soon. I would have still been able to, because I am an ambitious person, but not as fast. Creating an identity has always been very important for me,” she added.
